Between January and May of 2020, Kamchatka enterprises successfully exported over 162 thousand tons of aquatic biological resources, valued at approximately 343.5 million US dollars. These exports primarily consisted of fish products, which made up over 90% of the total export volume. The main recipients of these exports were China, South Korea, and Japan, with China being the largest market. The exports included a variety of fish species such as sockeye salmon, cod, pollock, flounder, and halibut, as well as caviar, liver, milk, crustaceans, mollusks, and fish flour. Additionally, nickel concentrate, ships, boats, floating structures, scrap and waste of ferrous metals, and inspection services for fish products were also exported.
