Chinese jujubes, also known as 'miracle drug' or 'medicinal apples', are being flooded into Vietnamese markets and selling at record low prices. The cheapest price for fresh or dried jujubes has ever been observed in markets, stores, and supermarkets. The price drop is significant, with a third to half compared to the same period last year. This fruit's popularity has surged due to its affordability and benefits, such as boosting immunity, fighting cancer cells, and improving the digestive system. Originating from China, the fruit is now widely consumed and advertised for its anti-aging properties, leading to a significant increase in sales.
