With a slow market, Tahiti's citrus prices continue to fall

Tahiti acid lime prices continued to fall in São Paulo. Although external demand is heated, the low demand in the domestic market still prevents an increase in prices. This week (30/08 to 03/09), the average sale of tahiti was R$ 33.29/box of 27 kg, harvested, a 5.8% decline compared to last week. In August, specifically, the values of the variety surpassed those of the previous month by 56.9%, due to the reduction in supply, but were 52.9% lower than in August 2020, in nominal terms.
