Between January and November 2023, Brazil exported over 940 thousand tons of fresh fruit, generating revenue of US$1.08 billion, a 30.4% increase from the previous year. The favorable climate in the Northeast contributed to the increase in export volume and quality of fruits such as mangoes, grapes, limes, lemons, melons, and watermelons. Brazil's positive performance is also attributed to climate-related problems faced by competing countries, such as Peru, Ecuador, and Spain, leading to reduced production and increased demand for Brazilian fruit.
