The Project of Improving Alfalfa Production in Düzce, Turkey, has provided 6,190 kilos of alfalfa seeds to 136 farmers to cultivate an area of 1,238 decares. The initiative aims to enhance the feed coverage ratio for the region's 80,000-strong animal population, thereby increasing milk productivity, reducing feed costs, and improving animal health. The ultimate goal is to foster sustainable and profitable family businesses that can produce their own forage.
