The Price Index at Origin and Destination of food (IPOD) for February by COAG reveals significant price differences between farmers and consumers. Lemon prices were markedly increased, with a consumer price 10.25 times higher than the farmer's price. Similar trends were observed with garlic, potato, broccoli, and lettuce. The price of pork and first-class veal also saw substantial increases, being 4.85 and 4.44 times higher, respectively. Overall, the price of all agricultural products increased by 5.13 times, while livestock products saw a consumer price that was 3.30 times the producer price.
