A total of 126 producers from Camanti (Cusco), Inambari (Madre de Dios), and San Gabán (Puno) participated in a Field Day organized by the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida), as part of the actions aimed at strengthening legitimate economies and reducing the vulnerability of more families to drug trafficking. During the event, the families toured five thematic stations that covered communal management, associativity and brand positioning, fertilization via drench, agroforestry systems for cocoa, and water quality criteria in aquaculture. This format allowed them to observe real results in demonstration plots and validate techniques applicable to their own productive units. The meeting also served as a space for exchange among producers, who shared experiences and reaffirmed their decision to implement responsible agricultural practices that increase yield, improve grain quality, and consolidate environmentally sustainable cultivation.
