Almost two months after the United States imposed 50% tariffs on Brazilian products, Brazil's coffee sector is already seeing China as a promising alternative to export part of its production. In August, the Chinese government enabled 183 new Brazilian companies to export the beverage to the Asian country. Although coffee consumption is still modest compared to tea, which is traditional in Chinese culture, the market grows by 10% annually, with projections to maintain this pace until 2030.
