In the domestic market, coffee prices in key regions of Vietnam increased to an average price of 65,600 VND/kg, with Dak Nong having the highest price at 66,000 VND/kg. On the international market, the price of robusta coffee futures in London increased by 32 USD to 2,439 USD/ton, while arabica coffee futures in New York increased by 4.2 cents to 152.85 US cents/lb. Coffee exports in Vietnam for August 2023 decreased by 30.97% compared to the same period last year, and it is forecasted that Vietnam's coffee exports will be at their lowest level in the last 3 crop seasons due to factors such as El Nino and supply shortages in Brazil and Indonesia.
