The average prices of arabica and robusta coffees went through November with strong fluctuation, but the levels were quite close to those observed in October. This is what the surveys from the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea) indicate. Researchers from Cepea indicate that, throughout the month, the internal values of the beans were influenced by the then expectations of the exclusion of coffee from the list of overtaxed products in the United States and, subsequently, from the 20th, by the exemption of the bean from the extra tariff of 40%.
