Cold Weather Is Numbered: July Will Have Drier and Milder Climate

The most intense cold wave of the year is numbered in Brazil. According to meteorologist Gabriel Rodrigues from Portal Agrolink, the peak of low temperatures has already been recorded, and the trend now is a gradual rise in temperatures across much of the country. Starting this Friday, July 4th, the polar air mass that caused the sharp drop in temperatures begins to move towards the Atlantic Ocean, losing strength over the continent. According to Agrolink data, this episode was the fourth and most severe of the year so far, with records of up to 5°C below the climatological average in various regions of the South, Southeast, and Central-West of the country. Technically, this behavior configures the phenomenon as a "cold wave," with especially cold nights and early mornings and the risk of frost in the southern mountains in the coming days.
