The Buriram Provincial Commerce Office in Thailand has initiated a project to exchange jasmine rice products from Buriram Province with seafood products from Krabi Province, aiming to support cooperative members, farmers, and entrepreneurs affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The project, in collaboration with BAAC Buriram Co., Ltd., has received support from the Air Force, including the use of a C-130 transport aircraft, to facilitate the movement of the goods. The total weight of the jasmine rice shipped was 12.30 tons, while the total weight of the seafood products from Krabi was 6 tons. This initiative aims to reinforce cooperatives, generate sustainable income, and introduce a cooperative mechanism for managing and integrating cooperatives.
