LLC "Kurskagroterminal," part of the Kaliningrad GK "Sodruzhestvo," has begun the launch of the third phase of the oilseed processing complex in the Kastorenskiy district of the Kursk region. The capacity of the new enterprise will be 3,000 tons per day. The complex will process 9,000 tons of oilseed raw materials per day. This was announced by Levon Osipov, Minister of Economic Development, Employment, and Tourism of the Kursk region, at a regional government meeting. Citing experts, Mr. Osipov reported that the complex has become the largest oilseed processing enterprise in the world. The annual capacity is 3 million tons. "The Kursk region cannot produce such a volume of raw materials—the enterprise plans to import it from other regions. And the added value will be formed here," noted the minister.
