The production of wine and must in the European Union could reach 150 million hectoliters in the current 2025/26 campaign, according to data published by the European Commission, based on figures reported by the Member States. This volume would represent an increase of 4.2% compared to the previous campaign (143.9 million hectoliters). Italy and Germany would be the main contributors to this increase. Spanish production, which could stand at 34.9 million hectoliters, would drop by 5.4% compared to last year.
