The company "Exsoil" has begun commissioning work at a new plant for processing soy and rapeseed in the village of Terbuny, Lipetsk region. The launch of the raw material processing line is scheduled for early November. Construction has been completed despite rising costs. For the market, this event is significant: it closes the country's need for domestic soy processing capacity. General Director of "Exsoil" Nikolay Zhirnov directly stated to "Abireg": "Now the Russian soy processing market does not need more." Investments in new projects now look doubtful. This year, the country will harvest up to 9.5 million tons of soy. This is much more than needed to meet the demand for soy meal in the Russian Federation.
