Brazil: Conab estimates rice sowing and bean harvest

Rice planting has advanced to 90.7% of the estimated area for the 2024/25 season in the six main producing states in Brazil (Tocantins, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Goiás, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, which represent 88% of the total), according to a weekly survey by the National Supply Company (Conab), with data collected up to December 22.
