Brazil: Conab includes passion fruit and yam from two states in the PGPAF bonus list

Yam / yam from the state of Espírito Santo is one of the products that will receive the bonus from the Price Guarantee Program for Family Farming (PGPAF) in February. The inclusion is due to the good productivity that generated an increase in supply and a reduction in price for the small producer in the region. Another item that becomes part of this month's list is the passion fruit from Bahia. The product already receives the benefit in Sergipe and Ceará. The calculation is the responsibility of the National Supply Company (Conab), which takes into account the guarantee price over the average value practiced in the market. Those products whose prices were below the market average are included. The bonus entitles you to a discount on the financing installments of the National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture (Pronaf). The benefit is valid from February 10 to March 9.
