The first estimate for the Brazilian grain harvest 2025/26 indicates a total production of 354.71 million tons, a volume 0.8% higher than that obtained in 2024/25, when 351.93 million tons were harvested. This is shown by the first survey by the National Supply Company (Conab), released this Tuesday (14). The planted area is expected to grow by 3.3% compared to the previous cycle, estimated at 84.4 million hectares in the 2025/26 season. According to Conab, in this new cycle, there is an expectation of 3.6% growth in the area sown for soybeans compared to 2024/25, estimated at 49.1 million hectares.
