Confectioners and bakers in Poland indebted to approximately PLN 118 million

According to the Register of Debtors BIG InfoMonitor and BIK, last year the arrears of bakers and confectioners increased from PLN 107.6 million in 2019 to PLN 118.1 million in 2020, i.e. almost 10 percent. On the other hand, there are fewer companies that had financial problems and ultimately the share of unreliable payers in this industry amounts to 6%. - as in the entire economy - it is also similar to the percentage of risky enterprises among sellers of bakery and confectionery products. In the case of retail outlets, arrears increased by 5% last year, to PLN 12.7 million. The average amount of liabilities overdue by at least 30 days in this group exceeds PLN 40 thousand.
