Contribution to local development from Muğla Metropolitan Municipality

The 'Purchase Guaranteed Ornamental Plant Production Project' implemented by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality in Beyobası, Köyceğiz, stands out as an exemplary work focusing on local development, cooperatives, and women's labor. Within the scope of the project, the Beyobası Agricultural Development Cooperative was supported, bringing together the labor of producers with the service capacity of the municipality. Comprehensive trainings were provided to cooperative partner producers, who had not previously produced ornamental plants, enabling the transition to professional ornamental plant production in the region.
