However, these banks face challenges due to excessive regulations and the need for technological advancements. Experts warn that the upcoming CRR 3 and CRD 6 package in 2025 could exacerbate regulatory burdens, potentially diminishing the banks' investment attractiveness, innovation, and economic benefits. They recommend reviewing current reporting requirements to avoid overregulation and ensure continued access to financing for key customer groups.
