Frontline cooperatives of the agricultural cooperatives are continuing the values of mutual benefit and sharing by consecutively transferring funds from the central cooperative association and donations to the agricultural cooperatives foundation (photo). Recently, the headquarters of the agricultural cooperatives central association received the following contributions: the Freshwater Eel Farming Cooperative transferred 500 million won in capital and 10 million won in donations, the Tongyeong Cooperative transferred 500 million won in capital and 5 million won in donations, the South West Sea Aquatic Farming Cooperative transferred 100 million won in capital and 10 million won in donations. Furthermore, the Seogwipo Cooperative decided to transfer 140 million 5 thousand won per month as a regular donation from all its officers and employees, the Uljin Hupo Cooperative transferred 10 million won, and the Jangheung County Cooperative and the Yokji Cooperative each transferred 3 million won in donations, promoting the welfare of fishermen.
