Copa-Cogeca requests the establishment of stricter regulations to protect extra virgin olive oil from adulteration in Europe

Fernando do Rosario, president of the Copa-Cogeca working group on olive oil, has proposed stricter regulations and production standards to safeguard the authenticity of extra virgin olive oil in the European market. He also advocates for a ban on the dilution of extra virgin olive oil with other vegetable oils.
