The National Supply Company (Conab) of Brazil has reported that the second corn crop for the 2023/24 summer harvest and the second 2024 harvest is being harvested efficiently in several states, with progress at 79.6%, higher than the previous year's progress of 47.9%. However, the harvest faces challenges in São Paulo and Minas Gerais due to unfavorable weather conditions, resulting in lower than expected yields. While some states have already finished their harvest, it continues in Bahia, Piauí, and Maranhão. The crop status includes 0.51% still in grain filling and 19.8% already maturing.
