As of March 13, only 3% of the planned corn area in Argentina has been threshed, lower than the average of the last 5 years (7%), according to the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange. A total of 1.99 million tons of grain have been harvested with a yield of 8.71 t/ha. However, wet weather conditions have led to a deterioration in crop conditions, with only 25% in good and excellent condition, 58% in satisfactory condition, and 17% in poor and very poor condition.
