Cotton sales in Brazil register high prices and average volume

Cotton sales on the Brazilian market showed an average volume this week, with prices that rose regardless of international benchmarks. According to information from Safras Consultoria, both trading companies and producers negotiated contracts for delivery in 2025, while the local industry showed interest in short-term acquisitions. On Thursday (20), in Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso, the price of feather reached R$3.71 per pound, an increase of 0.90% compared to the previous week. In Primavera do Leste, also in Mato Grosso, cotton was quoted at R$3.72 per pound, with an appreciation of 0.73%. In the CIF São Paulo market, the price reached R$3.95 per pound, an increase of 0.51% compared to last week.
