The price of chicken eggs in Indonesia has risen to IDR 30,590 per kg due to a supply shortage and increased production costs, particularly the cost of finished feed from factories. The highest price is in the Papua Mountains at IDR 60,000 per kg, and the lowest in Aceh at IDR 26,810 per kg. The shortage in national corn stocks, a crucial ingredient for feed, due to the impact of El Nino, has also contributed to the price increase.
