As of December 29, Ukraine's grain and leguminous crops have yielded 48.8 million tons on 10.6 million hectares, which is 92% of the planned area, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food. The average yield is 4.61 tons per hectare. The Khmelnysky region has the highest yield of grains and legumes at 7.04 tons per hectare. Harvesting is nearing completion in Volyn, Zakarpattya, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, with projections for wheat, corn, and sunflower outputs standing at 20.5 million tons, 27 million tons, and 10.1 million tons respectively, according to the USDA.
