This event, a representative autumn festival in the region, is centered around Jeongseon highland apples and offers various experiences and performances.
Exhibitions of highland apple and potato varieties, sales of agricultural and special products, a romantic gagyeok tonggitae festival, and celebratory stages by famous singers are expected to enhance the festival atmosphere.
Jeongseon apples, cultivated in highland areas above 500 meters above sea level, are praised for their firm flesh, high sugar content, and crisp texture.
Last year's festival saw over 10,000 visitors, leading to the depletion of prepared supplies and resulting in great success.
Jeongseon County aims to simultaneously promote local tourism and increase farmers' income through this festival.
Festival Chairman Ham Hyeong-gil said, "Jeongseon apples are a premium brand created by the residents' efforts and clean nature," and encouraged families, couples, and friends to enjoy the festival, savoring sweet apples and the autumn atmosphere.
