The Rural Agrarian Productive Development Program (Agro Rural) in Peru has invested over S/13 million in the Cusco region this year to protect agricultural activities from adverse weather conditions. This investment has benefited over 7,000 producers in 14 provinces, providing protection for over 72,000 sheep and alpaca cattle through the construction of 600 sheds. Additionally, 300 phyto-canopies were built for crop production, benefiting 300 families. The program also distributed veterinary kits, foliar application kits, and forage conservation kits to small producers in the region.
