From October 24 to 26, the XVI Organic Pineapple Festival will be held in the town of Omaya, Pichari district, La Convención province, Cusco region. The event will feature a diverse program that will highlight the best of local production and pineapple-derived products, such as nectars, cakes, ice creams, and cocktails.
In addition, regional gastronomy will be exhibited, including coffees, chocolates, wines, jams, and syrups.
Traditional contests will award the best pineapple, banana, cassava, pituca, bean, and citrus crops, promoting innovation and quality in the agricultural production of the area.
