Cusco: Promoting Paco Fish Farming in Pichari

With the aim of strengthening local entrepreneurship and promoting economic development, the District Municipality of Pichari, in the province of La Convención, Cusco region, inaugurated five ponds for the production of paco fish, benefiting the Natividad Paraíso Fish Farmers Association. The activity is driven through Procompite, which also delivered 5,000 paco fingerlings, along with specialized materials, inputs, and food for the different growth stages of the fish. Likewise, technical advice will be provided in aquaculture production to ensure the success of the project and the sustainability of the activity.
