With the aim of positioning the Valley of the Rivers Apurímac, Ene, and Mantaro (Vraem) as a benchmark for excellence in cacao, the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) and the District Municipality of Pichari launched the I International Fair of Excellence Cacao of Peru – Ficacao 2025, which will take place from December 10 to 13 next in the fairgrounds of Pichari, in the Cusco region. The Minister of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, Vladimir Cuno Salcedo, highlighted that this fair represents a milestone in the promotion of high-quality Peruvian cacao, especially the renowned VRAE 99 origin cacao, highly valued in fine chocolatery worldwide.
