Dagestan May Reduce Rice Cultivation Areas Amid Sales Challenges

INTERFAX.RU - Dagestan may reduce rice areas by 10,000 hectares in 2025 against the backdrop of sales problems, said Nariman Abdulmutalibov, deputy chairman of the Dagestan government, at the Caucasus Investment Forum. "The dynamics (of rice areas in Dagestan - IF) will be negative by 10,000 hectares. We have about 50,000 tons of rice that have not yet been sold.
