The Departmental Federation of Milk Producers of Santa Cruz (Fedeple) is calling on the soy sector to lift their road blockades, as they are causing harm to 60% of milk production. The blockades, which are affecting traffic on the Friendship Bridge, are not targeting traditional soybean areas and are causing economic harm. Fedeple is demanding the government to ensure free traffic on the roads. Meanwhile, base soybean growers have rejected the government's negotiations with the Association of Oilseed and Wheat Producers (Anapo) and are continuing their road closures after three days.
