Following the results of the 397th Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction, key exchange-traded dairy products have increased in price due to reduced supply, seasonal decline in milk production in Oceania, and the gradual recovery of global demand. The price index rose to 1161 points (+6.7%) — this is the strongest increase since 2021. The average product price was 3830 USD/t (+215 USD). The volume of sales decreased to 22.7 thousand tons, which is 5.1 thousand tons less than the previous auction. The auction was attended by 175 companies.
