In Denmark, cattle herd sinks to a new all-time low

With a decrease of 0.9% compared to the previous year's survey, Denmark's cattle herd has now reached a historical minimum of 1.5 million animals. This is reported by the umbrella association of the Danish agricultural and food industry (L&F) on the basis of data from the national statistical office (StatBank). The most significant decrease in bulls and oxen of 4.8% to 226,500 animals. The number of cows is declining The number of cows also fell by 0.9% to 646,700 heads.
