China's trade volume with Africa reached 1.19 trillion yuan in the first seven months of the year, marking a 5.5% increase from the previous year and maintaining China's position as Africa's largest trading partner for the 15th consecutive year. The trade volume between China and Africa in 2023 was 282.1 billion U.S. dollars, with a growth of 1.5%. There was a significant increase in the import of nuts, vegetables, flowers, and fruits from Africa, while China's exports of new energy products, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products to Africa also saw a substantial rise. This trade cooperation is seen as mutually beneficial and contributes to the social development and improvement of living standards in African countries.
