Chinese exporters have reported a surge in demand for quick-frozen sliced onions from European countries, with export volumes expected to rise by 40-50 percent from May to October. This increase is attributed to last year's drought in Europe, which has heightened the demand for quick-frozen vegetables. Meanwhile, the price of these vegetables on the international market is soaring. The demand for Chinese quick-frozen onions is particularly high, with Europe also importing large quantities of carrots. Orders for export to the US, which had previously been high, have significantly decreased this year.
