Despite the cooling of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Morocco accounted for the lion’s share of Tunisia’s total date exports during the 2022-2023 season, at a rate of 17.7 percent, equivalent to 22.9 thousand tons, according to what was revealed by the Tunisian National Observatory of Agriculture. Italy came in second place among the destinations that received Tunisian date exports, at 7.8 percent, followed by France, at 7.6 percent.
