The National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida) will participate in Expocafé Perú 2025, where it will present 18 coffee farming organizations from San Martín, Huánuco, Pasco, Junín, Cusco, and Puno that are part of the alternative development, coming from areas where numerous families left vulnerability to drug trafficking to consolidate legitimate economies. The event will take place from November 27 to 30 at the Casa Prado Convention Center, in Miraflores, and will bring together thousands of national and international visitors and buyers. It is worth noting that Devida currently supports 36,044 coffee farming families, organized in 87 cooperatives and associations, with 20 of them exporting specialty coffees to 15 countries.
