The Speaker of the House of Representatives of Indonesia, Puan Maharani, has emphasized the importance of improving the quality, packaging, and branding of domestically produced fruits to compete globally and contribute to the national economic growth. During a visit to PT Great Giant Pineapple Co. in Central Lampung, she stressed the need for synergy between companies and plasma farmers, advocating for fair business practices and consistent production to stabilize fruit exports and support the local economy. Lampung, being the largest pineapple exporter in Indonesia and the world, plays a crucial role in this initiative.
