Domestic prices for sunflower seeds in Ukraine continue to decrease

Purchase prices for oilseeds in Ukraine were in a mixed trend. The prices of sunflower seeds decreased against the background of the weakening of the export market of seeds and sunflower oil. At the same time, the fall was limited by high prices for meal. Prices for rapeseed and soybeans have remained more or less stable, although they are under pressure from limited demand. It should be noted that the decrease in prices was limited by the improvement of railway and road logistics of grain cargoes both towards the western border and ports. In addition, farmers are puzzled by the uncertainty of the sowing campaign and the possible reduction of sowing areas. Domestic prices for sunflower seeds decreased again against the background of weakening export demand for seeds and sunflower oil.
