(Iksan=Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Jin-bang = Mid-sized company Dongbang Agro plans to invest 15.7 billion won to build a logistics warehouse in the Hamyeol Agro-Industrial Complex in Iksan, North Jeolla Province.
According to Iksan City on the 17th, Dongbang Agro has signed a contract to purchase a 25,586 square meter plot of land within the Hamyeol Agro-Industrial Complex.
Dongbang Agro plans to build a logistics warehouse for storing finished crop protection products by 2026.
Dongbang Agro, a mid-sized company listed on the KOSPI and established in 1971, is a specialized company in the field of crop protection products such as pesticides and fertilizers. In particular, it has been continuously promoting technological development and quality innovation in response to various changes in agricultural technology such as eco-friendly and smart agriculture.
The city expects that this investment will accelerate the strengthening of regional competitiveness in the crop protection industry and the related industries' accompanying growth centered around the Hamyeol Agro-Industrial Complex.
