Polish carriers are planning a strike at the common border with Ukraine, which could result in a loss of about 30% of Ukraine's exports to EU countries. The carriers complain about increased competition due to the liberalization of transportation between the EU and Ukraine. The main border between the two countries runs through the Lviv and Volhynia regions, and the carriers plan to block three out of the total of eight border checkpoints in Lviv and two in Volhynia.
