A conference was held in Poland where experts discussed pressing issues facing the agricultural sector in the country and Europe. Professor Marta Damszel emphasized that despite the difficulties, effective fungicidal protection is still possible, but the future does not look bright when it comes to pest and weed control. According to her, insecticidal protection is very difficult, especially on rapeseed, and simplified cultivation and short crop rotation are additional factors that increase the risk of herbicide resistance in weeds.
