Russia: Eastern moth found in peaches from Iran

In October of this year, specialists of the plant quarantine and seed growing sector of the Volgograd branch of the Rostov Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor investigated a total of 2,248 batches of regulated products with a total volume of 113,070.019 tons, 58,001 pcs. Including 967 batches of regulated products for export with a volume of 64 355.748 tons, 620 pcs. and 41 consignments of imported products with a volume of 697,160 tons. During domestic transportation (including intraregional movements of regulated goods), 1240 consignments of regulated products with a volume of 48,017.111 tons, 57,381 pieces were examined. When moving regulated goods across the territory of the Volgograd region, 534 batches of regulated products with a volume of 11589 tons were examined.
