Data shows that in the first three quarters of 2025, the imports of processed and preserved tuna by the European Union and the United Kingdom have generally increased, with Ecuador contributing the largest increase. In the third quarter alone, canned tuna supplied by Ecuador to the European market reached 63,682 tons, far exceeding other exporting countries, with an average price of 5,381 USD per ton, up 4% year-on-year and 6% month-on-month.
