In February 2023, Georgia experienced a dynamic shift in its foreign fruit and vegetable trade. Exports of cucumbers and tomatoes saw significant increases, with cucumbers exported being 14 times more than the previous year and tomatoes nearly four times more. Apples also had a successful month in foreign markets. However, there was a notable decrease in the import of lemons and tangerines.
