The article outlines the anticipated changes in egg prices in Ukraine, with Taras Vysotskyi, the country's First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, predicting a slight decrease in egg prices from UAH 65 to UAH 61 per dozen by October 2024. This decrease is due to lower chicken productivity in cold weather and the process of renewing the chicken population, leading to a 5% decrease in egg production compared to the previous year. Additionally, the article addresses the impact of increased feed prices, a result of recovering grain prices, on egg production costs and farmers' profits. It also highlights the stable nature of prices for key food products, including meat, dairy, flour, and vegetables, under the condition of a stable energy system in the country.
